Sculptured Bows

I have been really busy with bow orders lately! Which is a GREAT thing...

However - it also makes me realize that haven't been working on many NEW designs.

SO... when my mom asked for a variety of bows {no specific requests} I decided to use that time to make some new bows as samples.

I have been wanting to try to make more sculptured bows {in the bow world that is a fancy way of saying bows that look like things other than bows}! Therefore, I present:

Butterfly Bow
Color combos are endless!
$3 each or 2 for $5

Lady Bug Bow
Color combos of your choice
$3 each or 2 for $5
Lollipop Flower Bow
color combos of your choice
$3 each or 2 for $5

If there is another type of SCULPTURED bow you would like me to try, give me a shout on the blog or my Facebook page and I will see what I can do!

Happy Monday All!

Prepare To Be DAZZLED!

Just handed over a set of 8 "Bedazzled Boutique Bows" to a friend of mine for her daughter!  I was telling her how I sometimes feel challenged to recreate a customer's vision for what they want their bows to look like.  However, I think that these turned out just right!  {breathing deep sigh of relief}

These bows pictured are actually the 4 Loop Boutique Bow {largest bow I make so far} and it is made with 1.5 inch ribbon.  These go for $6 each or 2 for $10.

They can be made in a smaller version as well using smaller ribbon and in our 2 or 3 Loop versions as well.  If you really think about it - I can take any bow you like and "Bedazzle" it!

Remember to be a Fan on Facebook and follow my pins on Pinterest by using my social media buttons in the top right corner of the blog!

Orders can be submitted using the order form under the contact tab at the top of the page or you can ask any questions there or contact me through the Facebook page!

Thanks again for being a fan!

Happy Monday!

Can't believe it is the last day in April!

I know I have been quiet on the blog lately, but I have been busy on the home front.  Just returned from a long visit with family and friends in Atlanta. Since our return I have been catching up around the house, and now Tball has started!  3 games this week alone!  WHEW!

In other news, we will also be moving to a different house, still in the same area, at the end of this month.  And before that happens, my entire family will be coming for a beach visit {they rented a house on Topsail Island} for an entire week.

Needless to say, without more details, I am going to be pretty busy the next month... however, just because I am quiet on here doesn't mean I can't whip up some bows!  It would give me a great excuse for some down time!

Let me know if anyone needs anything! And when life settles a bit I am hoping to start working on some ladies' bows!

--- XOXOXO ---

Busy Bow Time

Today I have been super busy filling some bow orders!  Take a look at what I accomplished!

This is a variation of the Glitter Bow {click for original post}. They run $5 each or 2 for $8. This bow was made for a friend to go with her daughter's Easter dress which is white satin with lavender accents.

These were made for an upcoming birthday.  My sister-in-law placed the order and I am really pleased with the variety she chose.  I really love the way you, as customers, are able to completely customize your orders and end up with accessories that are able to totally match your recipient's personality!

Now this little darling here has a cute story behind it.  This afternoon as I was making bows I walked one or two across the street to my friend's house to get her opinion.  Her daughters have always been some of my best customers because the LOVE everything I make, and I LOVE that they LOVE them!

Long story short, the littlest was so sad that the bow I had brought over wasn't for her. {insert frowny face hiding in the corner}.

Of course, that tugged at my heart strings and I made her tell me her favorite part of the Glitter Bow at the top of this post.  She loved how it was shiny and had lots of colors.  So, to go with her Tinkerbell shirt, I asked her if she would like me to make her a glittery, shiny bow like Tinkerbell... and the Fairy Bow was born.  I love how it is light and airy and shines whichever way you turn it.

So there you have it!  A busy Thursday making BOWS!

Enjoy your Easter weekend everyone and REMEMBER!  Yes Easter is a blast with all the egg hunts, baskets, candy, etc.  But what I love most is that the REAL reason for Easter is about what our SAVIOR, Jesus Christ, did this week for us on the cross and how he rose again and lives in our hearts.  I like to think that on Easter, each little girl gets all dressed up {dresses, shoes, purses, bows, etc.} and truly feels like the REAL PRINCESS she is!  A DAUGHTER of the ONE, TRUE, KING!

New Designs

Happy Friday Everyone!

I have been working on a custom order for St. Patrick's Day this week.  My friend asked for a "glittery" bow and this is what I came up with (on right).  I think it would be an adorable addition to my product line... so I am calling it the Glitter Bow.  It can be easily customized to the color of your choice.  Look a pricing post on the blog and Facebook Fan Page later today.

The other bow I came up with is pictured on the bottom left.  I am going to call it the Bubble Boutique Bow.  It has a little more pop with the bottom loops and can be made larger or smaller based on ribbon width.  I'll have a post on this later, as well!

Bigger is RIGHT

Here is an order shipping soon.  Just have to finish the final touches, but I TOLD you these just keep getting BIGGER!  Here are some 4 Loop Boutique Bows that are made with 1.5 inch ribbon.  Just gives it a little more thickness.  These beauties are just $5 each or 2 for $8.

Later on, maybe this weekend, I am going to try and make a layered boutique using some different color combos.  I can't wait to see how they turn out.

What colors would you like to see?

They just keep getting BIGGER...

The great thing about making bows {and basically anything creative you do} is that you can change simple things and end up creating something that looks totally new.  That is what I have been finding out lately.

You really can change ribbon size or the number of loops and come up with a bow that looks totally different.  I am finding now that I really just need people to tell me how they want their bows to look and then go for it.

The whole creative process is something that is so much fun to me, no matter what it is I am doing - scrapbooking, bow making, doodling, etc.  Every single time I sit down to make something I learn a new way or come up with something different.

All that to say I have been asked to make bigger bows lately, so I ordered some 1.5 inch ribbon.  Here they are.  I am playing with loops and designs, tails or no tails, etc. {Might possibly be making some bows with 2 inch ribbon soon, so who knows}.

The whole process is a blast.  See something you like, hit me up.  Think of something you want to see, hit me up, too!

Happy Tuesday All!

The Wait is Over

Remember the package I was eagerly waiting on this past Friday?  Well, after a spontaneous trip to Nags Head, NC (Outer Banks), I came home to find my package of ribbon in my mailbox!  Its sort of silly how some colored ribbon can make me giddy!

I am looking forward to some much needed "quiet" time, making some boys for some special little girls this week.  Hoping to quickly catch up on all the chores that I had planned on completing this weekend, so that I can get to work on some new creations!

Hope this post finds all of YOU doing well.

*** Don't forget to make sure you order some St. Patrick's Day bows {or something green} so your little princesses don't end up getting pinched in a few weeks!

*** Also don't forget to keep sending in those "BOWS in Action" photos.  I have some I need to get posted soon, and you can tag yourselves in them now, too. {If I don't do it first!}
